The Sisters Story
Growing up in a small coastal town we learned a lot about hard work, family togetherness, and creativity. Our mom mostly was a stay at home mom raising us girls with a flare for interior design. Our dad was a millworker until his multiple heart attacks at the age of 42. That catapulted us all more into our talents and where he pursued his hobby of painting and drawing into a profession. Us girls submitted several school projects, and to this day (choke, 40 years later) are still hanging up in the high school.

Creativity is in my blood, starting at a very young age. Whether it was doing craft projects with my mom or spending time in the woodshop with my dad. I earned an art talent grant for college, where I learned more about pottery, stain glass, sculpting and printmaking. I have done many commissioned pieces including murals and signs. Recently I was able to build my dream art studio where I completely lose track of time creating! My sister and I are enjoying pursuing our art adventure together.

I have always loved architecture. I probably should have been an architect. However, I fell into bookkeeping instead! Much later, I pursued my passion for organizing and interior design starting a small business, Organized Interiors, mixed in with commissioning my art to mostly friends. These days, I am pursuing my art with my sister. We are both very involved with a variety of art but I DO love to draw buildings. I moved from the coast many years ago and am settled in the Portland area.
